Texture Studio: 3D Ski Slopes

🖌️ Workshop Description:

Fresh snow, steep white runs and a slope full of skiers — sculpted in real relief at The ARTparty Texture Studio. You'll build a snowy mountain slope in modelling paste on canvas, so the ridges and drifts stand up off the surface and catch the light, then paint little skiers carving their way down. No experience needed.

Our instructor takes you through it step by step: laying the base, shaping the slopes and ridges with a palette knife, pulling ski tracks through the snow, and then painting the skiers in bright jackets on top. The snow stays white; the colour comes from the skiers.

No drawing skills needed. If you can spread butter, you can do the snow, and the skiers are small, simple figures our instructor shows you how to paint, one stroke at a time. A fitting start to the ski season.
