🖌️ Workshop Description:
Wet streets, gold light, tall glass towers dissolving into a grey sky. This is our most striking canvas — a rainy downtown at dusk, painted loose and bold with a palette knife and brush at The ARTparty.
Our instructor breaks it down into four manageable stages: the cool haze of the skyline, the blocky architecture, the burst of warm light at street level, and — the part everyone loves — the reflections, dragged down the wet road in long vertical strokes. You'll learn how to suggest a hundred windows with six marks, and why squinting is the most useful skill in painting.
Nothing here needs to be accurate. Cities look better when they're a bit abstract.
